Start your military academy journey with the Pre-Candidate Questionnaire. We help you complete this important first step to achieve Candidate Status and gain access to the full application process.
The admissions process begins with a Pre-candidate Questionnaire (or preliminary application) This online form gives you the opportunity to self-report important qualifications, including your grade point average, class rank and extracurricular activities.
If your self-reported qualifications meet the Academy's candidate guidelines, your application will be promoted to candidate status. At that time, your self-reported qualifications will be verified and expanded upon. It is important to provide accurate and complete information during this phase.

Pre-Candidate Questionnaires are generally due between December and January, depending on the Service Academy. However, we recommend submitting them as early as possible. For example, the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) opens its Pre-Candidate Questionnaire on March 1 each year.

To begin your Pre-Candidate Questionnaire, we will work together to complete and submit a qualifying application through the appropriate Service Academy admissions portal, including USAFA, West Point, or the U.S. Naval Academy.
We will guide you in developing a competitive candidate file and securing acceptance into the next stage of the Academy admissions process.
