Dr. Lee's Aspire Academy: Turning Dreams into Service and Leadership
Throughout my career, one theme has remained constant: a passion for helping others discover their potential and achieve goals they once thought were beyond reach.
As an Air Force officer, I had the privilege of leading and supervising diverse teams, managing complex operations, and mentoring the next generation of military leaders. The responsibility of serving our nation taught me the values of integrity, discipline, perseverance, and selfless service—qualities that continue to guide me today.
My journey as an educator extends far beyond my military career. Whether mentoring high school and college students, coaching future professionals, or serving as a faculty member teaching students in the medical field, I have always found fulfillment in helping individuals navigate challenging paths and achieve meaningful success.
My passion for military academy admissions became even more personal when my own children participated in JROTC during high school and pursued opportunities to attend U.S. Service Academies. As a parent, I experienced firsthand the excitement, uncertainty, and complexity of the admissions process. From developing leadership experiences and preparing for interviews to understanding congressional nominations, fitness assessments, and application requirements, I learned how challenging and competitive the journey can be for both students and families.
Through that experience, I gained a unique perspective—not only as a military officer and educator, but also as a parent walking alongside a student through the process. I understand the questions, concerns, and aspirations that families face because I have lived them myself.
That experience inspired me to establish Dr. Lee's Aspire Academy.
Aspire Academy was founded with a simple but powerful mission: to help motivated students pursue admission to our nation's prestigious military academies and develop into future leaders of character. I combine my experiences as an Air Force officer, educator, mentor, faculty member, and military parent to provide students with practical guidance, personalized coaching, and encouragement throughout their journey.
I believe that military academy admission is about more than earning an appointment. It is about developing leadership, character, resilience, and a commitment to serving something greater than oneself. My goal is not simply to help students gain admission to a Service Academy, but to help them become confident young leaders who are prepared to serve as commissioned officers in the United States Armed Forces.
As a lifelong educator, mentor, officer, and parent, I remain committed to helping students dream boldly, prepare diligently, and lead with purpose. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a young person transform aspiration into achievement and begin a lifetime of leadership and service.
